about

The recording session we had at Quiet Country Audio (Buffalo, NY) was a pedal heads dream. We had so much to choose from our own personal collections and having Paul (Besch, head engineer)'s collection at our disposal. We spent a ton of time getting different combos of tones for each of the guitars.
The rhythm guitar overdrives are layered between one of the first Chadderbox Effects Old Ironsides and an Earthquaker Devices White Light.
The lead guitars were a mix of a Chadderbox Loud/Louder and a Fulltone OCD v2. There's also a MicroPog thrown on during the lead at about 2:59. The light bass drive you're hearing during the second half of the song was courtesy of running an extremely loud Hiwatt Custom 100 head & an Earthquaker Devices Monarch. Reverbs were courtesy of a Dr. Scientist Reverberator and for the delays we ran the guitars through a Boss DD20 & a TC Electronics Flashback. I think us pedal junkies did fairly well for a three and a half minute punk song haha
